Montana State University is a public land-grant research university in Bozeman, Montana. It is the state's largest university. MSU offers baccalaureate degrees in 60 fields, master's degrees in 68 fields, and doctoral degrees in 35 fields through its nine colleges.
Montana State University is again ranked among the top universities in the nation in U.S. News & World Report's 2018 annual college guide and rankings released recently. In U.S. News' “Best Colleges 2018” guidebook, MSU tied for 113th place in the top public schools category.
