Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is a public polytechnic institute of technology located in the west-Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada.
Sheridan College has long been considered one of the best animation schools in the world. It regularly sends graduates to high-profile companies such as Pixar, DreamWorks and Nelvana. Graduates have won Academy Awards, including Domee Shi, who won the 2019 Oscar for Best Animated Short for her directorial debut Bao.
It has been ranked as the 77th by the QS World Ranking of Global Universities country wise. It has a ranking of 4716 by the QS World Rankings of Global Universities. Sheridan College is ranked at 6115, as it has an overall excellence score on the QS world rankings.
Sheridan's Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design has attained a milestone achievement, being the first arts school in Ontario, and only the second in Canada, to earn membership* in the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
