In 1997 the College moved back to downtown Vancouver, to share a brand new facility with the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Located at the junction of Seymour and Dunsmuir Streets, in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the campus is in the Educational Triangle of major public and independent institutions. As well as Columbia College and BCIT, this area is home to Simon Fraser University's downtown campus and Vancouver Community College. Within easy walking distance is Vancouver's award winning Public Library as well as other important cultural and recreational facilities such as Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Orpheum Theatre, (home of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra), the Vancouver Art Gallery, Science World, and recreational amenities in the YMCA and YWCA.
The College is located
